How you can help
We are always looking for people to support us with fundraising, so if you would like to organise a cake sale at work, run a half marathon or help out on a market stall for us, we’d be really grateful! Get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll do all we can to support you and publicise your efforts.
We welcome enquiries from people over the age of 16 who would like to volunteer at the club. Find out more on our Volunteer page
LS29 Time is run on a not-for-profit basis by the LS29 Special Needs Support Group, a small registered charity in Ilkley, West Yorkshire.
We aim to support children with complex needs, and three quarters of the young people who come to us attend special schools in term time.
Every place at the club is subsidised: we charge parents a normal holiday club rate of £20 per day, but each place costs us upwards of £100 per day.
Because we want to be as inclusive as possible, we also subsidise places for families that are struggling with more than one child with additional needs, and offer free places to families on low incomes.
All of this means we rely heavily on fundraising.
