How you can help

We are always looking for people to support us with fundraising, so if you would like to organise a cake sale at work, run a half marathon or help out on a market stall for us, we’d be really grateful! Get in touch at hello@moortime.org.uk and we’ll do all we can to support you and publicise your efforts.

Donations are always very welcome too. Contact us to discuss or visit our Justgiving page

Volunteering

We welcome enquiries from people over the age of 16 who would like to volunteer at the club. Find out more on our Volunteer page

Moor Time is a small registered charity in Ilkley, West Yorkshire that relies entirely on fundraising and grants to run its services.

We aim to support children with complex needs, and three quarters of the young people who come to us attend special schools in term time.

Every place at the club is subsidised: we charge parents at most a normal holiday club rate of £20 per day, but each place costs us upwards of £120 per day.

Because we want to be as inclusive as possible, we also subsidise places for families that are struggling with more than one child with additional needs, and offer free places to families on low incomes.

All of this means we rely heavily on fundraising.
