Just checking in to say what a great day yesterday was. We had a brilliant street dancing class run by a mum of a young person who comes to the club. We made dreamcatchers using craft materials that a lovely lady donated for us to use for the day (the best craft boxes you have ever seen).
Martin one of our keyworkers made musical instruments, and also a rat run for an invisible rat (thank goodness).
I cried twice, I need to learn to be more tough! I was watching one of our supported volunteers being amazing - taking on cooking for all of LS29 Time, making pizza, scones and milkshakes for us all. The supported volunteer roles just melt my heart. The young people are so proud to be involved. One of the film makers who is working at holiday club this summer interviewed them all today. Hope we get some good clips.
