All children and young people who attend the club must have a diagnosis of an additional need, or have an undiagnosed additional need that is under investigation.

Members of the LS29 Special Needs Support Group are given priority booking.

Places are then allocated on a first come, first served basis.

We do our best to meet as wide a range of additional needs as possible; however there are some needs our staff are not qualified to meet. Children whose needs we can’t meet are welcome to attend with a DBS-checked PA, if there is space available.

Our next sessions are due in the Easter holidays:

Wednesday 8th April - Quiet session - age 8-16

Thursday 9th April - Secondary age trip day

Friday 10th April - Primary age session

Wednesday 15th April - Extra help session - age 5-18

Thursday 16th April - Secondary age trip day

Friday 17th April - Primary age session

Sessions cost: £20 standard, £10 for any additional siblings after the first child pays full price, £7 for young people who attend with their own carer, free for families who are on eligible benefits for Free School Meals.

QUIET SESSIONS and EXTRA HELP SESSIONS will run on alternate Wednesdays from 10am - 3.30pm while we trial them this year.

Based at the centre for 8-16-year-olds, this is a quiet, reduced numbers session that's low key and not too stimulating. It's designed with young people in mind who struggle with busier sessions.

Based at the centre for 5-18-year-olds, this session has relaxed, fully accessible activities, with heathcare staff on site. For young people who might benefit from some extra health support.

Please feel free to book any session you feel is suitable for your young person. However if we are over-subscribed we may limit the sessions to one per week so more young people can attend. If you have booked two in a week, please let us know on the booking form which is your preference.

We have three booking forms, please choose the one that applies to you. If in doubt, contact us:

Booking form A (long form)

  • If your young person is new to the club.

Booking form B (short form)

  • If your young person has attended before.

Booking form C (short form for PA-supported children)

  • If your young person is new to the club and you would like them to come with their own personal assistant.

Need to speak to someone before you book? We'd be happy to have a chat. Get in touch and we'll arrange a call.
